As an admirer of your achievements there’s a small favour I’d like to ask of you. Please remember Blessed Franz Jägerstätter in your prayers. He was an Austrian farmer beheaded in 1943, not for killing, but for refusal to kill – for Hitler. Franz was beatified last October (his first feast day is tomorrow), and his widow Franziska, whom I’ve met twice is still alive at 95. Please pray for her too.

Thank you very much, and blessings,

    Dear Nigel,

I will hold them both in my prayers. Thanks for contacting me.

    Dear Sister Helen,

Although I’m an Anglican I’m a member of Pax Christi too. I’m sure that if you’d care to come with us on the road to St Radegund, you’ll be more than welcome to join with us. Frau Jägerstätter is a dear soul, whose loyalty to her Franz has never wavered, despite being widowed for more than 60 years.

I guarantee that if you were to meet this lady, Sister Helen, you’d really love her!

    Peace always,
