Dear Sister Helen,

Of your charity, please pray for Akmal Shaikh. He is due to face a firing squad in China tomorrow, having been found guilty of smuggling 4kg of heroin. He is said to suffer from bipolar disorder, and thus may not be wholly responsible for what he did. Outline details of his case are on: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8432948.stm

Please also pray for his family. Thank you.

Dear Sister Helen,
let me tell you again (after years) that I still admire you and the work you´ve been through. God certainly gave you the right place to fullfill your duty on his planet.
For many years I am every day now on the NCADP website and write to everybody who could possibly help (Though my days are 18 hrs of work and my wife suffers badly with MS.
Everytime a state gives up capital punishment and everytime an execution is stayed is like a little win on the long road to finally end this cruel punishment.
My wife sees my action and even today I was talking with guests in my hotel about this... when she finally asked me:
"What would you do if somebody killy your daughters!"
I was so ashamed, because I didnt know the answer!
An eye for an eye would probably be my first immediate thought sister...
But an eye for an eye leaves everybody blind at the end as Mahatma Gandi said.
I know your time is precious so I won´t disturb you for much longer.
You are so often in my prayers Sister and I wish you all the strengh in the world to continue.
Excuse my bad English ( I´m in the middle of the Bavarian Mountains, just about 20 miles outside Mozarts Salzburg)
Have a look at my website and feel free to come to my little paradise whenever you run out of energy. Be my guest as long as you need and take that as a token of my deepest gratefulness and asteem to your life and everything you have done. Maám, I grew up in a family where a handshake is like a contract and I won´t forget.
God bless you Sister
Yours faithfully

I you could tell me where to find a signed Book of "The death of innocents" I´d be gratefull

Dear Sister Helen:

Thank you so much for the work you've done over the years with issues of justice, mercy, and redemption. As a fellow Catholic Christian (and native of Shreveport, La), I find your witness reassuring AND challenging, and, I'm so looking forward to your coming to my campus, Northwest Nazarene University, in Idaho, in January of next year for our Beloved Community keynote address.

May God continue to bless your work
