CRIME SURVIVORS GUIDEBOOK

This free reference guide assists people coping with the aftermath of violent crime in Greater New Orleans. The updated book describes how the criminal legal system is set up, and what practical resources are provided by official agencies, legal aid clinics, community groups, medical services, mental health, and grief support groups. It also touches on emotional repercussions, survivor rights, and relevant civil matters.

The Crime Survivors Guidebook was inspired by the personal experiences of the author, Rose Preston, and her desire to help other crime survivors. Many participants have contributed to this important resource. This update is being released by Community Mediation Services.

The Crime Survivors NOLA website will launch at the same time as the Crime Survivors Guidebook. It will be continually updated so that survivors will have access to the most accurate information.

PLEASE RSVP and pass on the word!
